The surfaces are mainly hard with just a tiny bit of porosity on the reverse. The strike is good on the reverse but weak on the obverse as is sometimes seen. Blackish-brown toning over fields that possess the normal amount of marks seen with this grade. A very presentable example of this early and historic issue.
