 1825 Erie Canal Completion Medal. White metal. 81.3 mm. 5.1 - 5.6 mm. thick. By Sir Edward Thomason. A second. Choice Brilliant Proof. This specimen is nicely toned in a pale silver gray shade. The fields are brightly reflective around the devices, somewhat toned down in the more open areas. There are some touches of tin pest on the reverse.
