1788 Connecticut copper. MBL. M.7-E. R-5. Nearly Very Fine. A second. 98.0 gns. Dark olive brown in...1788 Connecticut copper. MBL. M.7-E. R-5. Nearly Very Fine. A second. 98.0 gns. Dark olive brown in color on both sides with patches of orange at the tops of each side. Obverse surface quite rough and granular particularly in the center; reverse microgranular everywhere, rough on the date, center, less so around the rim. Struck on a somewhat misshapen flan, most noticeable from the reverse.
