1787 Connecticut copper. MBL. Fatal break. M.15-S. R-5+. Very Good. The Miller Reverse Plate Coin....1787 Connecticut copper. MBL. Fatal break. M.15-S. R-5+. Very Good. The Miller Reverse Plate Coin. The Miller Sale Coin. 130.0 gns. Dark charcoal brown, nearly black fields, a little lighter on the high points, the obverse and reverse surfaces nearly uniformly microgranular. Considerable loss of definition in the center of the obverse and reverse, only partially explained as a result of wear. Severe die break in the lower right obverse field, covering the last letter in the inscription, reaching as a cud to the rim at 4:30: the fatal break.
