1723 Rosa Americana Twopence. Stop after REX. No stop after 1723. Br.92. Choice Uncirculated. Bath metal. 225.2 gns. Good, deep brown color on both sides with faint traces of faded gold on the back. The surfaces appear smooth and hard to the naked eye, just microgranular under a glass with some flow lines evident. Obverse slightly off center to the left but without important effect. A nice coin with a great pedigree.
