1787 Connecticut copper. MBL. M.11.2-K. R-3. Technically Extremely Fine. 128.4 gns. Good rich olive...1787 Connecticut copper. MBL. M.11.2-K. R-3. Technically Extremely Fine. 128.4 gns. Good rich olive brown in color on both sides. Obverse fields seem smooth and hard to the naked eye, center rough, flawed through eye and chin; reverse fields smoother than the center which is indistinct and a little granular. The obverse a little off to the top; the reverse seems nearly perfectly centered. Some small obverse rim flaws, tiny dent above the head; reverse rim dented at the upper left.

Ex John G. Mills Collection (S.H. & H. Chapman, April 27, 1904, lot 276). Square collector's ticket accompanies the lot.
