Cruciform shields, scepters in the angles and interlaced C's at the center. Edge DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI VICESIMO, 20th Year of the Reign, a fine point of Restoration etiquette which counted the years from the death of King Charles I rather than from the actual return of the King in 1660. S.3329, Fr.282. Here is a magnificent example of the coinage identified with the African Company. Splendidly struck and displaying a wealth of lustrous beauty, the obverse virtually Mint State. Choice About Uncirculated. (Est. $7,000-$8,000)
