Fulvia, third wife of Marc Antony. Æ 20 of EUMENEIA in Phrygia, ca. 41/40 B.C. Winged, draped bust of Fulvia r. as Nike. Rv. Athena advancing l. Sea-green over some roughness. No reverse legend visible. Nice portrait. About Very Fine; Juba II and Cleopatra Selene (daughter of Cleopatra VII and Marc Antony). Æ 23 of MAURETANIA, ca. 8-15 A.D. Diademed and draped Juba bust r. Rv. Diademed and draped Cleopatra Selene bust r. Mazard 373 (RRR), SNG Cop.611. Olive-brown over roughness. Very Good; also Celtic Gaul Æ. The Remi. Ca. 53 B.C. Æ 15. Three busts conjoined l. Rv. Victory in biga. BMC 53-65, S.333, F.467. It has been suggested that the three busts here represent the first Triumvirate of Caesar, Pompey and Crassus. Rough surfaces. About Fine. 3 pieces.
