Trinovantes. Tasciovanus, 15-10 B.C. Silver Unit. Romanized head r.; TASCIA before. Rv. Bull butting l. 1.22 grams. Van Arsdell 1794-1. Toned Nearly Extremely Fine; The Iceni. Late 1st Century B.C. Silver Unit. Norfolk-god type. Celticized head r. with raised ''almond'' eye, trefoil before. Rv. Celtic horse r., diamond below, wheel-like object above. 1.24 grams. Van Arsdell 792-1. Sharp strike, nice surfaces and Choice for type. Extremely Fine; also British Barbarous Radiates, 3rd Century A.D. One with design that can be construed as a plan for a Roman fort, though it may be an abstraction of an altar design from the reverse of a Roman Æ 3/4. Very Fine. 4 pieces. (Est. $300-$400)
