Constantius II, as Caesar. Solidus, 326-327 A.D. Trier. Diademed bust of Constantius II gazing upward, no legend. Rv. Victory advancing l. holding wreath and palm. 4.38 grams. RIC 498. Ancient mount mark on the reverse edge at 6:00 and near the mintmark, occluding the T of TR. Light obverse graffiti. Good portrait. Very Fine; Constantius, as Augustus, 337-361 A.D. Solidus, 355-357 A.D. Rome. Helmeted and cuirassed bust ¾ r. holding spear over shoulder and shield. Rv. Roma and Constantinopolis enthroned holding wreath between them inscribed: VOT/XXX/MVLT/XXXX; (branch)RSME(branch) in ex. 4.03 grams. RIC 291. A few old obverse test scratches and some edge filing.
