Margrave on war horse r. Rv. Order of the Red Eagle. Fr.391, KM 256. Brandenburg-Bayreuth and Brandenburg Ansbach were located in Southern Germany and ruled by a collateral branch of the House of Hohenzollern. Both were absorbed by Prussia by arrangement with the next Margrave, and the Red Eagle joined the roster of Prussian Orders. Richly prooflike Brilliant Uncirculated. (Est. $2,500-$3,000)
