 1858 Large Letters, High Leaves. Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. Shimmering, chrome-like fields give this coin the initial impression of full Proof, but closer examination reveals its business strike status. Nevertheless, its boldness of strike, prooflike fields and exquisite golden-rose toning combine to create one of the most eye appealing specimens available of this common date. Some minuscule die cracks are noted around 'ERICA' and the tailfeathers on the obverse.
