Boy's head of the Spanish monarch l., highly abbreviated titles ALFONSO XIII P.L.G.D.D. REY C. De ESPAÑA. Rv. Crowned Arms between pillars, ISLA DE PUERTO RICO. KM 24. Although struck at the Madrid Mint, this coin does not bear its 6-pointed star mintmark, but 5-pointed stars otherwise reserved for Manila, Philippines, an anomaly never fully explained. Bold silver-white lustre drenches both sides, a few very faint hairlines can be sought out. Brilliant Uncirculated. PCGS MS60. (Est. $1,500-$2,000)
