 1846'C' About Uncirculated. This remarkably high grade example of a Charlotte mintage of only 4,808 displays an amazing amount of boldly flashing lustre. The strike is extraordinarily sharp and complete with the 'C' mintmark placed high and overlapping both the stem and arrow fletching. Akers noted that this rare date ''in any condition is highly desirable,'' adding that most existing were Very Fine or below.
