1818 N.10. Sharpness of Mint State-60 or nearly so. The surfaces initially appear to be red and brown, however closer examination belies a very old, gentle cleaning that has since been largely concealed by the acquired brown patina. There is an obverse rim lamination at 9:00. The surfaces are otherwise generally smooth and free of problems worthy of mention.
Ex Samuel W. Wolfson Collection, Part II (Stack's, May 3, 1963, lot 59).
