Davenport carelessly calls all Papal crowns of this era Scudo, but the actual denomination was the heavier Piastra. Steely toning shows an undercurrent of gold, a glass finds ancient pinscratches in the obverse field. Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated. (Est. $1,000-$1,500)
