Rainbow tones start with lime-gold at the lower obverse and transition to emerald, blue, magenta and peach before reaching upper ranges of the obverse. Mirror-like fields grace both faces, with the reverse especially bold in its gently toned, mostly white quality. At just 490 pieces, 1877 boasts a low mintage Proof production.
