1801 Tar.25. Br.2-B (R-3). Choice About Uncirculated. Mirror-like reflectivity lies in the protected areas of the legends and stars on this gently circulated specimen. Rich amber tones at the peripheries join glowing, dominant yellow-gold surfaces. Here is a well struck and rather appealing specimen of this most common die marriage among the early Eagles, 1795-1803.
Ex Christie's Auction, February 1989, lot 720.
