1800 Tar.23. Br.1-A (R-4). About Uncirculated. Richly toned in yellow-gold and orange-gold hues, this specimen has the appeal of a higher grade. The strike is generally strong, but for the characteristic weakness at the fourth obverse star, and the lustre is quite good in the fields. A few field marks and some tics at the rims are noted for completeness of discription for this specimen of the only die variety of the 1800 date.
