Surfaces are bright silver from a past light cleaning, with some original lustre inhabiting the most protected areas of the devices. A light orange-gold tone has begun to return to the peripheries, where some minor bruising is also noted. An old scratch under the eagle's neck is noted for accuracy. A mere 1,200 pieces were coined of this important first year of type.
