 1866'S' No Motto. Extremely Fine. Deep coppery-gold toning highlights the crisp devices on this attractive example of a scarce and desirable San Francisco date. This No Motto issue is measurably scarcer than the succeeding With Motto type and this coin will repay close study. A mere 8,500 pieces of the No Motto type of 1866'S' were coined.
