1854 Repunched Date. About Uncirculated and Choice in terms of forceful strike and satisfying lustre....1854 Repunched Date. About Uncirculated and Choice in terms of forceful strike and satisfying lustre. The '1', '5' and '4' are notably double-punched on this variety, which the late Walter Breen characterized as very scarce. Lightest canary-yellow gold lustre complements a very bold strike, scattered bagmarks can be found but offer little visual distraction.

Lot # 3267 Session 3
