Both sides were sharply struck. Liberty's hair strands are sharp and bold on the front and the eagle's wing feathers show nearly full detail. The fields are bold and clear and still have some reflectivity. The piece has toned in a somewhat unusual iridescent blue and pale purple in the centers.
