1798 B.8. Pointed 9 in the date. Only 4 berries in the branch on the reverse (the only such variety of this date). A strong, lustrous About Uncirculated or better example. A faint blush of delicate golden-gray toning highlights fields and design features that still retain more than their fair share of frosty mint bloom. With there being no confirmed Mint State examples and only a limited number of survivors within the About Uncirculated grade range, it is very probable that the impressive coin offered here is within the condition census for this highly collectible Redbook variety!
