1813 S.293. About Uncirculated-50. Medium brown color lends an endearing eye appeal to the glossy smooth surfaces. This coin does show some signs of contact, but nothing out of the ordinary for a coin seeing brief circulation. It is quite difficult to locate a Cent of this date without pitting, making this example quite a find. Very few specimens of S.293 are known in full blown Mint State, so this lightly circulated specimen would make an ideal specimen for the quality conscious collector.
