1796 S.103. LIHERTY (R-4+). Very Fine-20. Central devices are boldly detailed, as is the error spelling 'LIHERTY', the result of an upside down 'B' being corrected with a right side up 'B' in LIBERTY. Surfaces are generally granular, with a patch of corrosion noted in front of Miss Liberty's profile. Here is an acceptable survivor of this very scarce variety.
