Half Cent. 1803 Breen 3. Cohen 3. Double Strike, in Collar (Reverse Only). Very Good. During striking, the reverse die must have bounced while the coin was still attached to the obverse, accounting for the lack of double striking on the obverse. The doubling is quite close on the reverse, the second striking having nearly obliterated all remains of the initial striking. Surfaces are deep olive-brown and generally very smooth and attractive. PCGS VG08.
