Here is a delightfully high quality example of a Dahlonega mintage of only 2,935, the last Type I date of this Georgia Branch Mint. A marvelously detailed strike and absolute minimum of circulation place this example far ahead of Akers' average grade of Choice Very Fine; outstripping the Norweb Choice Very Fine-Extremely Fine and Eliasberg Choice Very Fine-Extremely Fine examples.
