 3rd Wisconsin Volunteers Medal. White metal. 39.7 mm. Uncirculated. Prooflike. Some tinpest. State arms/unit designation with commander's name. The unit was organized at Fond du Lac on June 19, 1861 and mustered out on July 18, 1865. It fought at Cedar Mountain, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, and in the Atlanta campaign.
