India paper Proof by New England Bank Note Co. Boston. A rare version of Commerce and Navigation seated holding a rudder. At the left two men harvest and at the right is a female leaning on a pail. Haxby ME-250 G24 SENC. Another superb rarity from this series of $6, $7, $8, and $9 notes. One of the most popular odd denominations in our opinion. Superb and an important bidding opportunity.
