The Newman Reverse Plate Coin. Both sides have bright red mint red color showing, the obverse about 85%, the reverse about 90%. The fields are only microgranular to the naked eye but the brilliance is appealing and the color is quite attractive. Struck from a failing obverse, most noticeable across George's neck.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
