India paper Proof on card by Danforth, Bald & Co. New York & Philada. At the lower left a sailor and farmer seated by coiled rope and bale. The Bank die at the bottom center with the straight title across the top of the note. Dual geometric pattern intersecting the right end grill work. Haxby NY-1555 G4 SENC. A single proof from the ABN Sale. There was a sheet of $2-$2-$3-$3 in this same lot that we sold in the Ford III Sale in May, 2004. A Gem. Stamped on the verso of the card by the ABNCo. during its archive storage.
