A cut fragment (8 x 5.5 cm.) of a colonial era financial document with the name Mark Newby written into the margin in old handwriting. Mr. Ford bought this as a possible Mark Newby autograph but was aware that this was uncertain. The cataloguer does not believe the hand to be 17th century.
