Rhode Island. 2nd Volunteer Regiment. K Company. Charles Brown. Brass. 31.3 mm. Extremely Fine. Holed....Rhode Island. 2nd Volunteer Regiment. K Company. Charles Brown. Brass. 31.3 mm. Extremely Fine. Holed. George Washington type. The unit was organized at Providence in June, 1861 and mustered out on July 13, 1865. It participated in such actions as First Manassas, Fair Oaks, the Seven Days, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Marye's Heights, Gettysburg, Mine Run, the Wilderness, Cold Harbor, and Petersburg. Brown mustered out as a corporal.
