Salt Lake City, Utah Territory. November 21, 1868. Signed by Robert Campbell. Printed face and back by J.D. Seymour, Kennard & Hay, Engr., New York. The face with wagon being driven by two men, flanked by green protectors and denomination. The title is curved above. Ornate and deep green back with protector '1' at the center and 'PAYABLE IN U.S. CURRENCY' along the bottom. Rust Figure 112 (page 100). A choice example of this type. Well margined and nice color. Several folds, but Very Fine plus. There is an 1869 dated pen endorsement on the back top edge. Vastly superior to 95% of the notes on the entire series.
