New England Bank Note Co. with 'ABC' monogram. Red protector 'L' at the upper left and 'FIFTY' using spaced letters across the bottom. Liberty, Justice and Literature seated at the top right. At the left wheat and in the lower right corner Vulcan. Haxby ME-535 G32a. Signed by both Emery's with red cross out pen cancels. Low No.6, the number below the block. Most of the notes on this Bank's high denominations are low numbers. A common bank, but not this high denomination. Less than a dozen known. Extremely Fine with a small counting smudge at the right.
