Blue vignettes and red title and protector 'ONE DOLLAR'. At the left a side wheeler and at the right an Indian chief, both in blue. At the center, the pelican arms for Louisiana. Detailed text, 'redeemable at St. Charles Hat Emporium under the St. Charles Hotel'. The red color back vignette is extraordinary. Though light, it appears to be 100's of hats exploding from a volcano with a dinosaur skeleton in the foreground. Engraved names and not signed. Quite unique! Solid Fine. A fascinating note.
