India paper Proof by Wellstood, Hanks, Hay & Whiting, New York. The curved title separates De Witt Clinton portrait in an oval, supported by cherubs, and a vignette of Mechanic seated with two allegorical females. At the upper left is a female seated with '2', below the Bank die. Haxby NY-845 G4 SENC. Only the descriptions were known, not the imprint or details for any note on this bank. The two left corners are deftly rejoined. The look of Very Choice. This could very well be the only note known of this type in any form.
