NEW JERSEY. Civil War Dated Hoboken Obsolete Banknotes, All Scarcer Issues. Hudson River Bank. $1.00. $2.00, and $3.00. Hoboken. 1862 written dates. Green protectors, lathe and frames. Well vignetted series by the National Bank Note Co. The $1.00 with harbor scene; the $2.00 with clipper ships; and the $3.00 with sailing ship head on, flanked by large '3' protectors. Haxby NJ-205 G2a, G4a, and G6a. All Very Good. Solid notes, but soiled. Small POC on the $1.00 note. Very well matched in appearance; North River Bank. $3.00. Hoboken. 'Nov. 10, 1864'. Green frame, panel and '3' protectors. Green pattern back. Three portraits, New Jersey die lower left. Very Good. Some foxing spots. All scarcer notes in the high Rarity 4 to Rarity 5 range. 4 pieces.
