STATE OF MARYLAND JUNE 28, 1780 ''GUARANTEED'' NOTES, PAIR OF CARD RIM MOUNTED NOTES. Three Dollars. No.5459[?]. Signed by N. Harwood and Callahan; countersigned by B. Harwood. Paper, size, styles, and imprint as previous. Appears to be Crisp Uncirculated. Paper rim mounted from the back neatly in an old style. No trace glue to the face; Five Dollars. No.5475. Signatures as last, face and back. Styles as previous. About Uncirculated or better. Well margined on the face. Moderately toned like several Five Dollar notes we have seen in this serial number range. Also, paper rim mounted as last. Very neatly done in an old style. Both very attractive from the face. 2 pieces.
