Continental Congress. April 11, 1778 Yorktown Issue. Six Dollars. No.8529. Signed by D. Reintzel and...Continental Congress. April 11, 1778 Yorktown Issue. Six Dollars. No.8529. Signed by D. Reintzel and S. Bryson. Motif and motto as used on the May 10 1775 Session, November 29 1775 Resolution, February 17 1776, May 9 1776, July 22 1776, November 2 1776, February 26 1777, and May 20 1777 notes. Printed on thinner paper stock. A third denomination in the Yorktown series and again, quite a pleasant example. Bright with the look of nearly new at first glance. There is a wide sheet margin at the right. About Extremely Fine. Hard vertical fold, seen from the face with a faint ride line. Heavier handling on the edges, but mostly confined on the right wide edge deckling. The bottom left end is trimmed in slightly and with a slightly uneven cut as often seen on the issue.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
