Continental Congress. February 17, 1776 Resolution. One Dollar. No.100637. Signed by J.[oseph] Parker...Continental Congress. February 17, 1776 Resolution. One Dollar. No.100637. Signed by J.[oseph] Parker and R.[obert] Evans. Printed on thick coarse paper. Standard size, approximately 95 by 75mm. Motif and motto as used on the May 10, 1775 Session and November 29, 1775 Resolution notes. Nature print back. Hall and Sellers imprint, '1776'. The Dollar denomination notes on this issue are sometimes forgotten and the lower ones, such as this, are very tough in the highest grades. A superb note and nearly immaculate. Choice Crisp Uncirculated. Deeply inked and beautiful printing clarity on both sides. The face margins are complete, though close in a few places. Very minor corner handling seen with scrutiny. Faint upper right back corner pencil code. A premium quality note worth well in excess of perceived trends or catalogue listings.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
