Treasury of Virginia. October 20, 1777 Act. Six Dollars-Four Dollars. Uncut Vertical Pair. Nos.12052-12052....Treasury of Virginia. October 20, 1777 Act. Six Dollars-Four Dollars. Uncut Vertical Pair. Nos.12052-12052. Each signed by Dickson and Wray. Printed on heavy rag paper with blue fibers. Standard smaller format size, approximately 105mm by 180mm for the pair. Uniface, standard styles and designs. Virginia tramples tyranny, motto SIC SEMPER TYRANNUS. An uncut pair from the same serial number run as the previous note. This likely came from the old Wayte Raymond inventory at one time.

Complete sheet selvege at top and broad margin at left. As a multiple, Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Heavy handling with light folding across notes. The face appeal is nearly new with moderate aging and some darker patches of foxing, mainly on the top wide sheet selvege. The individual notes would grade the same if one blithely severed this multiple into oblivion.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
