Treasury of Virginia. October 20, 1777 Act. Eight Dollars. No.12054. Signed by Dickson and Wray. Printed...Treasury of Virginia. October 20, 1777 Act. Eight Dollars. No.12054. Signed by Dickson and Wray. Printed on heavy rag paper with blue fibers. Standard smaller format size, approximately 105mm by 70mm. Uniface, standard styles and designs. Virginia tramples tyranny, motto SIC SEMPER TYRANNUS. The series and type priced in Uncirculated in Newman, but sheets on this issue were not many in the old-time hoards. Exceptional paper quality and printing clarity. Choice About Uncirculated, and Virtually Crisp Uncirculated. The bottom edge exhibits just the beginning of horizontal bending. Full wide sheet margin at left, the other margins broad for the type. A few light to modest toning patches, one on the left margin.
