Current Money of Virginia. July 17, 1775 Ordinance. One Pound or Twenty Shillings. No.16914. Signed...Current Money of Virginia. July 17, 1775 Ordinance. One Pound or Twenty Shillings. No.16914. Signed by Phil.[ip] Johnson and Wm. Norvell. Printed on thick heavy rag paper with blue fibers. 100mm by 67mm. Uniface. Elaborate border cuts with Arms upper left. Interesting misspelling at right border cut, 'FOWR CROWNS'. Average printing strength, but exceptional paper quality. Crisp as cardboard and bright. Choice Extremely Fine. The vertical has bending and there are some corner rubs. Glittering mica on both sides of the note. The look of ''all there'' and not often seen in this top notch grade.

Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate.
