South Carolina. Lawful Money of April 10, 1778. Two Shillings and Six Pence. Crossed Cornucopiae Vignette. No.9411. Signed by Neufville Jr. and Crouch. Printed on laid paper. Uniface, standard size, approximately 95mm by 60mm. Floral detail at the left face, ornate seal vignette at the lower right; Three Shillings and Nine Pence. Beaver Vignette. No.9411. Signatures, paper, size, and styles as previous; Five Shillings. Phoenix Vignette. No.9411. Signatures, paper, size, and styles as previous; Ten Shillings. Palmetto Vignette. No.9411. Signatures paper, size, and styles as previous. A cut sheet of four notes. All are very deeply inked notes and well margined and evenly cut. All Choice Crisp Uncirculated. There is a very short tear into the bottom edge of the Ten Shillings. 4 pieces.
