MULTORUM SPES. No.2016. Four signatures. Signed by McCall, Ward, John Dart and William Parker [vertically in red, to the right]. Printed on thick, coarse stock. Standard size, approximately 110mm by 75mm. Standard face style using border cuts with denominations, vignette seal and motto at the lower left. Ornamental printed back, denomination and imprint Printed by Pet. Timothy, 1777.

There were 10,000 notes printed of this denomination. This certainly has a ''remainder character'' to it. Very lightly handled and nearly new. About Uncirculated. Only heavy corner rubs, not creased or folded. There is a short slice into the bottom of the wide left margin from the sheet miscutting. The back is centered to the right and the aforementioned cut is into the ornament line.
