South Carolina. 1777 (December 23, 1776 Act). Six Dollars (£9:15:0). Camel Vignette. NEC ONUS NEC META GRAVABIT. Unnumbered. One signature. Signed by Wakefield. Printed on thick, coarse stock. Standard size, approximately 110mm by 75mm. Standard face style using border cuts with denominations, vignette seal and motto at the lower left. Ornamental printed back, denomination and imprint Printed by Peter Timothy, 1777.

A sharp single signature remainder with exceptional paper quality diagnostic to the issue. Notes such as this are classic and always popular. The topical camel theme is not often seen on paper money. Choice Crisp Uncirculated. Full margins, evenly trimmed and a little close. There is a line of ink smear on the bottom face signature field as printed.
