The face plate orientation style is the same as the October 25, 1775 and April 25, 1776 issues. The Commonwealth Seal location (as opposed to the Penn Arms used in the Royalist period) rotates on the face depending on the denomination in the following manner respectively according to denomination: The Three Pence on the lower left, Four Pence on the lower right, Six Pence on the upper right, and finally upper left on the Nine Pence.
