This is an ''issue within the issue'' as there are no notes between this one and the Half-a-Crown notes. There were only 5,000 notes printed which we guess would be 1,250 sheets with four plate positions. The top border cut is signed 'J. SMITHER SCULP' discretely under the denomination.
